Our MissionFound My Voice, Inc supports individuals with disabilities to provide them with resources and skills that will support their own personal life endeavors. We PRESUME COMPETENCE and believe that all individuals should be able to communicate using their preferred method. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming and community oriented space so that those with disabilities can thrive, have friends, make connections with others and be understood.

What We Do

Spelling to Communicate (S2C) is an alternative communication method that meets the needs of many nonspeakers, unreliable speakers and echoic speakers. We belong to I-ASC which is an International organization that supports nonspeakers and offers training, parent support and advocacy. Communication is a human right and you deserve to be heard! Not everyone can use ASL, electronic devices, writing or typing. S2C provides nonspeakers with a proven and tested method to communicate. We welcome all AAC devices! As a licensed educator, I want to provide your student with grade level content and lessons! Both online and in person. Your student deserves an education just like neurotypical students! Small group and 1:1 teaching allows students to have a customized education.

Spelling to CommunicateNonspeakers have intelligence and they have a lot to stay!! Alternative communication allows nonspeakers to share their thoughts, opinions and dreams with others. Communication is a HUMAN right.

Tutoring1:1 and small group tutoring is available for students with state licensed instructors. Licensed in Illinois and Indiana.
We also offer Academic Support / Classes for homeschoolers and students typically placed in Life Skill programs. We presume competence and believe that your student is capable of learning grade level content! |
